Poker is a game of chance in which players try to make the best hand. To determine the odds of winning, the first step is to determine how many people have aces. Then, divide that number by four to obtain the percentage odds. Then, compare these odds to a straight, a flush, and a pair.<\/p>\n
Poker is played with a standard deck of 52 cards, although some variant games use more or fewer packs and sometimes include jokers. The playing cards are ranked from Ace, King, Queen, and Jack, from highest to lowest. The cards come in four suits and no suit is higher than the other. The best poker hand contains five cards, and some games include Wild Cards, which may be any of the four suits.<\/p>\n
Ideally, players will have a straight flush, which is five cards of the same rank. In the case of a tie, a player with a higher-ranking four-of-a-kind will win. Alternatively, the high card outside a four-of-a-kind will break a tie.<\/p>\n
