Poker is a form of card game played by multiple players. Unlike other vying games, poker involves bluffing, which makes it distinctive. The object of poker is to make the best hand, with the best cards, and win the pot.<\/p>\n
A poker hand is comprised of five cards. There are two types of hands, called straights and flushes. These hands can be formed using one, two, or three cards from your hand. One of these hands is considered to be the highest possible hand, while the other is the lowest.<\/p>\n
Most forms of poker involve a betting round. Players may check, fold, or raise a bet. After the cards have been dealt, the dealer will show all the players’ hands. When it is the turn of a player to act, that player is the first to put in a bet.<\/p>\n
A pot is the sum of all the bets placed by all players in one round. A pot can be won by making a bet that no other player calls, or by making a bet that no other players call.<\/p>\n
The best possible hand is the Royal Flush. It consists of the highest card, usually a king, queen, ace, or ten, and two or more other cards of the same suit. The straight is the second highest hand, and the flush the lowest.<\/p>\n
