The Best 10 Stores in Paris
Zara
Now I realize this isn’t a “Parisian” store, but my first experience with Zara was here in Paris. I absolutely LOVE their style- very trendy yet stylish and classic. My favorites things to buy were the jackets and blazers, belts, and tops (I bought 2 jackets from here even though it’s about to be summer- haha) I must have went into every Zara here- all 8 of them
New Look
I realize this isn’t a Parisian brand either (I think it’s English?), but it’s still a great store to check out! This is very similar to H&M- it has a great variety of clothes at a fair price. I bought a beautiful black Maxi dress for only 20 Euros! I love their dresses, tops, and shoes. Warning: do not try to go here on a Saturday as you’ll want to push people out of the store. It’s SUPER crowded- so much, that you can barely move in there sometimes… Wear comfy shoes too, as you’ll be in there awhile
NAF NAF
This is another clothing shop, but a little more pricey than New Look and very boho inspired. The tops and jackets were so cute, plus they had fun accessories! It seemed like a store that Lauren Conrad would shop in… I only saw one of these stores and it was in Champs Elysses.
H & M
I feel like there is an H & M on every corner here! I think that they have different selections to what we have in the US. I love this store and would visit it no matter where in the world I was, as they offer the latest fashions and for an EXTREMELY low price. Laugh at me all you want, but I shopped here like 5 times while in Paris as you just can’t beat the price and variety
Monoprix
Monoprix can be your one-stop-shop while you’re here in Paris. They have everything from groceries to makeup to household wares and everything in between. It’s the closest thing to Target, but not quite as big and are all over Paris.
Printemps
This is the exact alternative to Macys or Nordstroms: a large high end department store. I would shop here for my shoes, accessories, or nice tops that I wanted to splurge on. (I found some really cute black sparkly heels here
) Nicola found a beautiful ring from Agatha- a reasonably priced jewelry line with beautiful rings, bracelets, and earrings.
Pharmacie
The Pharmacie is where you can get your prescriptions as well as your skin care products. France is known for their amazing skincare lines, and the pharmacie is the place to get them. You can spot them all over Paris by their big green plus signs outside. Make sure to check out the brands Avene, La Roche Posay, Bioderma, and Nuxe (some of these brands are available in the US, but not all products are sold)
Promod
I found a REALLY cute shirt here for 14 euros, need I say more
Promod is similar to Zara but a little cheaper- they have cute clothes, purses, and accessories that won’t break your wallet. My favorites purchases here was my purse, jacket, and shirt. (geez, I sound like a complete shopaholic right now… haha)
Yves Rocher
It’s like a Bath and Body Works that sells makeup. It’s the perfect combo! I absolutely loved their hand soaps, lotions, and lipglosses. I wish I could have bought more makeup products as they seemed really nice, but I spent too much on my clothes and shoes
Tati
Tati is a sort of bargain store that sells items such as clothing, domestic wares, toiletries, cosmetics and jewelry. Even though some of the items seem to be cheap you can still find great bargains in there! It reminds me of Kmart or Walmart- they have everything you can think of, and the prices are amazing. Just be prepared to stand in line a bit as the crowds are insane!
