My Favorite Perfume!

I know this seems weird typing about perfume, but I have to share my all time favorite scent:  True Religion Hippie Chic  (no, I wasn’t sponsored or bribed in any way! I bought these myself :) )

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this scent!  I’ve been on the hunt for over a year to find the perfect perfume to wear every day (fruity and fresh scents are my favorite).  I fell in love with this scent as it’s fresh and sweet, but not too overpowering.  I wear this almost every day and even bought the gift pack from Macys that includes the travel bottle and scented lotion :)

           hmm, the best way to describe the smell is that it’s sort of a spicy vanilla-y smell.

    I am in love with Chanel Chance Eau Tendre. Very light fresh and fruity fragrance. My husband loves it so much that he sprays it on as well. And he said it was a big hit with the ladies at work. Hahaha.

    The design of this perfume doesn’t remind of something fruity and summery though :)

    DKNY Be Delicious  – when I want fresh and fruity
    Issey Miyake L’Eau d’Issey – when I’m feeling a little bit more exotic.  floral with musky and woody tones

    The best part is all 3 of these are available in rollerball for $20/ea at Sephora for those who don’t want to commit to a whole bottle of perfume.

    I am in love with Burberry perfume. I’ve been wearing this scent for years and receive a lot of compliments. There is no name other than just called Burberry. It used to be called Burberry London. But they no longer call it London for some reason. Smells amazing!

    My favourite summer scent is Be Delicious Fresh Blossom. So subtle, yet so gorgeous. I also like Twirl by Kate Spade. For a more musky scent, I like euphoria from Calvin Klein.

    I hate floraly or overly fruity (I do like hints of floral) – I love woody, musky sensual perfumes!

    I’ll have to try this one, thanks for the suggestion!  For the daytime I LOVE Flirtatious, sold only at Kohl’s.  It has exotic wild berry, honeysuckle and creamy vanilla…it’s to die for!  Other than that I wear alot of Victoria’s Secret–Sexy Little Things Noir fragrance mist, Coconut Passion and Vanilla Lace from their Fantasies line.  At night I’m all about Victoria’s Secret Rapture, I get asked all the time what I’m wearing.  I also wear Burberry Body for special occasions as it gives off a seductive/sultry scent that’s great for a more formal date night.

    I like the Victoria Secret body spray Love Spell. Perfume gives me a headache b/c it’s too strong but I recently have been wearing Miss Dior Cherie and just bought a second bottle. I can spray 4 sprays and it’s not too much. As opposed to Ralph Lauren Romantic, which I like, but it’s just too strong. I try it again and again but I can’t handle it. Miss Dior Cherie just dropped the ‘Cherie’ b/c they didn’t want peeps to think it was only for teens. So now it’s just Miss Dior… same fragrance. Really interested to go smell this and see if I like it…. thanks for the info :)

    My favorite is Dolce and Gabanna Light Blue! Its light, floral, and woody i think. Perfect for everyday and the staying power is rockin’! Ive been wearing it for 5 years now its become my signature scent but I am having a very hard time finding another I like.

    Try Katy Perry “Meow” The new fragrance. It is sweet and fruity.

    Kinda weird but Jennifer Aniston’s perfume is delicious! It’s sweet but not overpowering at all. You can apply a lot of and it’s really subtle. The only downside is it doesn’t last all day, you must reapply. It’s sold in a rollerball at Sephora.

    Oh my gosh, you should try Versace Woman, it is my go to scent.  It smells amazing and men always compliment me when I wear it ;-)

    Escada Taj Sunset is my all time favorite… it’s so sad that it was a limited edition! I like all your favorites but I have not scented the Hippie Chic yet. I will certainly try it! Maybe it will become my everyday perfume to replace Taj Sunset.

    After reading this I wanted really wanted to smell it!!! I checked my local Macy’s but they were out of it so I went on eBay & took a chance & purchased it w/o smelling it. (note: I bought a “tester” full size NEW one for only$25!!!! It was $80 online at Macy’s for this size! Great deal!!!!) I just received it in the mail- Marlena I love it!!!! Deff light enough to wear every day. Thanks for the recommendation! Great find.

    My favorite one is Dior Addict Shine summer edition, fresh floral, citrus, fruity, woody. Got lots of compliments…but it doesn’t last very long… oh well some strong scents make me nauseous so I prefer to reaply it :) ))

    Hello Marlena & Friends <3 <3 <3 please try "Pink Sugar" by 'Aqualina'…It is hands down the best smell that I have come across yet! It`s a fruity scent with a hint of sandalwood with a touch of vanilla and cotton candy… It`s AMAZING! I get positive compliments every time that I wear it… "Pink Sugar" by 'Aqualina' is sold at SEPHORA!!! …I will definitely be trying "Hippie Chic" as well, Thanks Alot for your recommendation!     My fav is In Love Again from YSL. The original one since 1998. It’s fruity too, hope u like it. I always prefer flowers, and preferably one major flower scent, eg, Rose from Paul Smith or Covet Pure Bloom from Jessica Parker (plum)
