The Biggest Casinos in the World

A casino is a facility that houses and accommodates certain types of gambling activities. It may also have a restaurant, bars and entertainment shows. A casino is licensed and regulated by a government agency. To play at a casino, you must be of legal age and follow the rules and regulations of the establishment.

Many cities are famous for their casinos, with Las Vegas perhaps the most recognizable. However, the biggest casinos in the world are not all located in Sin City. In fact, the largest casino is in a city that may surprise you: Oklahoma.

WinStar World Casino in Oklahoma is often cited as the world’s largest casino, but it’s only true when you consider the entire compound. Most other sites focus on the casino’s gaming floor, which is only around 519,000 square feet. While that’s still a lot of space, it’s well behind the top two on our list.

The Venetian Macau, in the heart of Asia’s glitzy capital of Macau, takes second place with 546,000 square feet of casino space. Its opulent interior lives up to its name, with chandeliers, gold-plated fixtures and massive columns. Its games include blackjack, roulette and more, with baccarat and poker taking up much of the rest of its room.

The third-biggest casino in the world is the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, which offers a lot more than just slot machines. There are nearly 400 table games, a racetrack and a full range of restaurants.
