My Shoe Collection :)

I love shoes. I love all the colors they come in, the different styles, how they make my legs look longer. It takes everything I have to not stop by the shoe store and browse for a new pair! I think it’s something about being such a girly girl that I’m in love with all things makeup and shoe related. There’s nothing better than going out on a nice date wearing one of my favorite makeup looks and a pair of sexy heels.

I know I’m not the only one addicted to shoes out there, so I thought I’d share with you my shoe collection I’d love to see what your favorite shoes are and how you organize them!

My all time favorite shoes are by Jessica Simpson because they are comfortable as well as stylish. I have these leopard ones that I bought over 2 years ago and wear them all the time (I had to get them resoled because I wore them out- haha!) My favorite style is her standard pumps: ”Waleo“, her wedges: ”Amande“, and her slingbacks: “Halie“.

Because these almost all have the platform in the toe, they don’t feel as high as they look (BIG bonus for my achy feet!). Plus the heel itself is very sturdy and not too thin, so I don’t feel like I’m going to topple over like a Jenga Puzzle…

My other favorite shoes are by Guess. Granted, these aren’t as comfortable as my Jessica Simpons, but they’re pretty dang cute. I love the pumps as they’re classic shoes that will never go out of style. I found mine as my local Ross and Marshalls for a really good deal! The striped ones you see I bought earlier this year at Nordstroms or you can find here at Amazon.

The only downside to these is they can be a tad snug, so I go up a 1/2 size (I normally wear a 8 1/2, but get a 9 in this brand). The striped ones you see below are called “Nanci“.

For my summer wedges, I absolutely love my Cathy Jean ones as they’re so comfy and come in tons of styles and colors. I bought the classic cork wedge in black and in red. I just need some white ones You can find her stores in several malls, or can order from her online store. The sizes run spot on- they aren’t too big or too small.

To organize my shoes, I bought this cabinet from Ikea. It is perfect for holding many of my shoes while keeping my closet, um…. “smell free”. haha! The closed case keeps all my shoes neatly tucked away.

Were you always able to wear heels like that or has it been easier since you’ve lost the weight? I’m a very overweight and relatively tall (5’8″) and my feet just kill me when I try to wear heels. I am currently trying to lose weight and hoping that wearing heels will be another benefit to weight loss but sometimes I wonder if I’m just not meant to wear heels.

  I’ve always been able to wear heels to some extent, but I can wear them for longer periods now with less weight… I hope that doesn’t come across badly

Cute collection! I love Jessica Simpson’s shoes- Halie in red is my favorite from her collection. Have you tried shoes by Carlos Santana? They’re super comfortable!! I wear a size 8, but have wide feet. These shoes are the only ones I can strut down the street in for hours without stomping in pain by 2am! www.carlosshoes.com -they have funky colors/patterns, too!

i LOVE your style! I agree that Jessica Simpson shoes are comfortable. I can’t wait to try the Cathy Jean wedges. I love wedges… but I’ll have to wait until next year. I’m 13 weeks pregnant and have the ability to roll my ankles like no other. If I rolled my ankle in heels I think my husband would have a heart attack! HA!

I’ll be honest, I tend to think people that look like you (absolutely beautiful) are stuck up and snobbish. Hi Marlena.. I am a fan of yours I joined weight watchers and lost 50 pounds..2 years ago. And now that I am no longer on program, I have put 20 pounds back on..I seen a few of your videos on weight loss and I am somewhat motivated. The best workout sneakers are made by Brooks. They are worn by most serious long distance runners. I had trouble tendonitis till I starting wearing them.
