My new summer shoes: Cathy Jean Black Wedges

Every summer I buy one really good pair of wedges or sandals that I can wear almost daily.  I found my shoes for this summer- my Cathy Jean Sling Back Wedges.

I can honestly say these are some of the most comfortable wedges I have ever worn! Because there’s a platform of 1 1/2 in the front, it makes the 4 inch heels much more easy on the feet.  I love the rope design on the bottom- very trendy and fun, and the shiny black finish dresses them up a bit.  I wear these almost every day with my capris or jeans- they spruce up my outfits with little effort :)

I bought mine from the Cathy Jean store in my local mall (here’s the online store), but you can get some similar ones online at Zappos or Amazon.

What are your thoughts on black wedges- yay or nay? They’re a staple in my shoe collection as they go with everything and are super comfy :)

    Love wedges too and these are gorgeous ones Marlena, nice buy! I wear them a lot as I am heel mad, but wedges offer much more comfort over a full day!

    I have a pair of black wedges from Soda. They’re strappy and have a cork wedge. Super comfy (and high!). I love them!

    those look comfy. but sadly i woudn’t be able to wear them. im 5’10″ lol and i hate my feet. i wear boots and tennis shoes mostly lol. but they are cute! how tall are you Marlena?

    I love wedges! They give you height and comfort if you get a good pair. I have a pair in a brown and a nude color and yes, they can go with anything!
